“Irish atheists use Bjork, Mark Twain to challenge blasphemy law”
A law in Ireland, making blasphemy a crime punishable by a $35,800 fine, came into effect January 1. An Irish atheist group is challenging that law by publishing ‘blasphemous’ quotations that include the words of Jesus, Muhammad, Mark Twain, and others.
A fine for blasphemy?! …The many times edited, and rewritten, and the outright plagiarism of the Bible …is the BLASPHEMY! The continued acts of pedophilia …and covered up acts of pedophilia …by some in the Irish Catholic clergy …is the BLASPHEMY!
Why a $38,500 fine? …could it be that you’re broke? …could it be that you’re losing thousands of dissolutioned followers who no longer fill your coffers with money out of fear of some God’s retribution? …could it be that you’re strapped for money because many adults who were molested and or raped as children by your clergy are now winning multi-million dollar lawsuits for pyschological damages and emotional suffering?
It is not that far back in my memory of reading weekly the gastly accounts of the Protestants and Catholics of Ireleand …blowing themselves to pieces and shooting each other …and you pass judgement on the waring religious sects of the Middle East?!?… and now you want to fine someone $38,500 … simply because …you can no longer get away with burning them at the stake!
Damnit! …for the sanity of the world …once and for all …permanently and absolutely …separate the church and the state! …everywhere! …and keep some kind of free press alive! …or they will be burning you at the stake for even thinking!
